Short Bangs

I really really wanted to get my bangs cut short. So I did it. Now I am wondering if I should have. But I did, and hair grows.

Starting Preschool at Home

I have been wanting this for a few weeks and finally purchased it today. It is a bit spendy, but it does come with a lot. It's $80 plus tax. They one thing I wasn't happy about is that you pay that and still don't get enough velcro. Other than that I can't wait ti use it! It is going to be circle time. We will use this first thing in the morning. My daughter has been doing daycare for quite sometime now. We have finally decided to take her out and do preschool at home.

She will still have kids her age to play with at the YMCA that we attend daily. I also have her signed up for swimming lessons. We will be going to story time at the library once a week. They also put on a craft class once a week as well. I plan on keeping her mind busy. So excited for our new adventure!

I have also been working on the "preschool" room. I found the posters at the dollar store. We had the table already, and the circle time lion was purchased at Goodwill.

Random Act of Kindness Around the Neighborhood

I decided to spend the day with my daughter planting pots with flowers. It was so much fun and it gave me a chance to explain to her about being kind to others just because. In a world of uncertainty, war, racism, sexism, poverty, fighting, dying, and sadness. We can carve this teeny tiny little piece of our world and make it positive. Just by doing these little things. I feel better standing out in the cold Seattle rain, handing my 4 year old daughter a card, watching her pick out which pot of flowers to run up to the door and drop off and see that huge smile on her face than going to another department store and buying a new pair of shoes I don't need, or a purse I don't need. This simple act of kindness made my day, made my daughters day, and hopefully put a smile on people's faces.

If this is something you would like to do this is what you will need:
Pots Dollar store 3 for $1.00
Soil
Flowers. I found them at Lowes. 6 for $2.39
Small cards. I had them on hand, or you can have your child make them.

The total came to $27.00
